£133m, two mansions & others – Here’s a tall list of all the properties Roberto Carlos’ wife has taken from him after divorce

Brazilian football legend, Roberto Carlos who is celebrated for his remarkable career at Real Madrid is reportedly living at the club’s training ground during a contentious divorce settlement with his wife of over 15 years, Mariana Luccon.

The couple, who share two daughters, Manuela and Mariana, have decided to part ways, according to reports in Spain.

Spanish publication Estadio Deportivo has indicated that the divorce proceedings could be protracted due to the division of Carlos’ substantial wealth, estimated at around £133 million.

While Luccon continues to reside in their primary Madrid home, her parents are said to be occupying another property owned by Carlos.

This situation has left the 51-year-old football icon seeking temporary accommodation at the Real Madrid training facility in Valdebebas.

Valdebebas, Real Madrid’s state-of-the-art training complex, is primarily designed for youth players and visiting team members.

It boasts comfortable apartments overlooking the training pitches, a gym, and other amenities. While unusual for a footballing legend to reside there, Carlos’ temporary stay shows the personal and logistical challenges he faces during this transitional period.

Renowned as one of the greatest left-backs in football history, Carlos enjoyed an illustrious career with Real Madrid, winning multiple Champions League titles and domestic honours.

Since retiring in 2012, he has remained connected to the sport through coaching, ambassadorial roles, and charity matches.
