A Catholic priest was detained after raping and impregnating a fourteen-year-old girl.
Anambra State residents are criticizing Rev. Fr. Nwaigwe Stephen, a Catholic priest, on the grounds that he allegedly defiled a 14-year-old girl while supervising her and resulted in her getting pregnant.

P.M. Express claims that the incident happened in Ihiala, Anambra State, Nigeria, where Fr. Stephen pretended to be the victim’s educational sponsor while residing with her.
Owing to the purportedly horrific offense, the Awka Sexual and Gender-based Court has arrested, charged, and placed him in custody.
