Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah, the founder and overseer of the Accra-based Glorious Wave Chapel International is back again in his usual style of predicting elections.
He said the current economic situation the country faces cannot determine the electoral fortunes of the ruling NPP.
According to him, he is the only person ordained by the Holy Spirit to predict the winner of the election.
Delivering a sermon in his church on Sunday, July 17 after the winners of the NPP National Executive Elections were declared, the self-styled prophet asserted that although people are complaining about economic hardship bitterly, that alone cannot kick out the ruling NPP in the 2024 elections.
“Spiritually, economic situations in a country do not determine election results because if they did, NPP would have retained the seat in 2008,” he claimed.
He explained that “After all, the situation then was very good and it went into a run-off election which finally saw NDC win the seat from them.”
He further indicated that whoever he declares the winner will surely see victory, claiming that the election has already been held spiritually and the winner declared.
“Whether you like it or not, whoever I declare as president will gradually become it because it’s a power from the almighty God. When I say you will win, you shall surely win, and when I say you won’t, you can never be, and that’s because it’s myself and the Holy Trinity (God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) who can only declare the winner,” he touted.
The man of God expressed surprise that Ghanaians still can’t see the winner of the 2024 elections claiming that n the results are already declared with the winner standing by the seat spiritually.
“So the winner is already standing by the throne, I’m shocked you people can’t see that…We have done the same before for both sides (NPP and NDC) some time ago and it came to pass,” he said.
The prophet who predicted a win for then-candidate Akufo-Addo in 2012, which turned out to be false added that the winner in his prophecy keeps alternating.
“Now in my prophecy, I see that the torn keeps alternating because God is still looking for a man who has a genuine heart for God and Ghana to give it to,” he said.
