    A Heartwarming Day of Support for Orphaned and Disabled Children

    As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), GhPage Media, a leading digital media platform in Ghana dedicated December 28, 2024, to giving back to some of society’s most vulnerable members: orphans and children with disabilities.

    This year’s impactful initiative brought hope and joy to two orphanage homes in the Ashanti Region: Step by Step Ministries in Kwaso and Kikus Shelter Home in Fumesua.

    Touching Lives at Step-by-Step Ministries

    The team’s first stop was Step by Step Ministries, a specialized orphanage in the Ejisu municipality dedicated to children with Down syndrome and other disabilities.

    The facility which provides a haven for children with unique challenges welcomed the GhPage team with open arms.

    During the visit, GhPage Media founders Toni Kusi and Rashad Emmanuel, along with other team members spent quality time with the children.

    The team presented donations of essential supplies, rice, oil, tintomatoes, soft drinks etc and shared words of encouragement.

    This gesture was not only a show of generosity but also a reminder of the importance of inclusion and support for children with disabilities.

    A Vibrant Celebration at Kikus Shelter Home

    Next, the GhPage team headed to Kikus Shelter Home in Fumesua.

    This facility caters to children and adults by providing them with care and a sense of belonging.

    The visit to Kikus Shelter was marked by a day filled with fun and engagement.

    The team organized a feast by cooking and serving delicious meals for the people who were present at the event.

    A lively football game was also held that brought excitement and camaraderie to the home.

    The orphans and the GhPage team joined forces to create unforgettable memories that transcended the boundaries of giver and receiver.

    A Collective Effort

    The applaudable initiative was powered by the Rash Hour Foundation which raised approximately GHS 70,000 to support the project.

    The funds enabled GhPage Media to significantly contribute to the two homes, demonstrating the power of collective action for social good.

    Key members of the GhPage Media team, including Manager Kobby, King Asu B, and several other employees, participated in the event to ensure its success.

    The two orphanage homes received an envelope full of heavy cash aside from the donations.

    Recognition and Gratitude

    Both orphanages presented GhPage Media with citations of appreciation to acknowledge their thoughtful contributions and efforts.

    The citations serve as a testament to the positive impact of the initiative and a reminder of the importance of corporate social responsibility in fostering community development.
