On Twitter, a man shared shocking news about a pastor who asked to pray for a married couple who had been attending his church for a long time and were having difficulty conceiving. As a result, the pastor asked the couple to make love in front of the congregation while he prayed for them to help them conceive.
People would do everything to help them conceive, but making love in front of your church members is a different story. We live in a horrible society where people are duped by desperate individuals. To be honest, I think this is a disservice to the marriage, but who are we to pass judgment on others? Perhaps the pastor’s strategy will succeed.
Many people liked the post, but they weren’t happy with how the pastor was assisting the couple in conceiving. Some people believe that today’s pastors play with people’s minds because they are desperate over things they can’t control, and others were concerned about how the church would view the couple after what they did in front of them.
We must learn to be patient with the things we have no control over, such as the fact that not everything will happen on our timetable; we may plan, but God determines what is best for us.
