In the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region, a helicopter had to make an emergency landing due to severe weather near the Nkawkaw bypass.

When the weather deteriorated in midair, the pilot was reportedly compelled to deviate and make an unplanned landing. Thankfully, the crew members and pilot arrived safely.

Days prior, another helicopter, registered 9G-ADW, was forced to land near the Presby School Park in Ajumako Kokoben under identical circumstances. This most recent occurrence follows that incident.

The pilot had to land in an open field inside the school grounds to ensure everyone’s safety as the four-person aircraft struggled with strong winds and almost no visibility.
