A$AP Rocky is officially back in full force.

The Harlem superstar has released Don’t Be Dumb (A$AP Worldwide/RCA), his first studio album since 2018’s Testing, and the project is already making a major commercial statement across streaming platforms worldwide. In its opening run, the album debuts 14 tracks in the Spotify U.S. Top 100, led by “HELICOPTER” landing at #3.

The momentum doesn’t stop there. The album’s chart takeover continues with several additional songs within the U.S. Top 10, including “STAY HERE 4 LIFE” (#6), “ORDER OF PROTECTION” (#7) and “STOLE YA FLOW” (#8) — giving Rocky multiple instant standouts early in the album’s rollout.

The album’s visual identity is already generating conversation. The album artwork — illustrated by legendary director Tim Burton — depicts six alter egos representing different sides of Rocky’s persona:

GR1M, MR. MAYERS, RUGAHAND, BABUSHKA BOI, DUMMY and SHIRTHEAD.

Rocky Becomes Most-Streamed Rapper Globally for First Time

Another major milestone followed the release: A$AP Rocky became the most-streamed rapper on Global Spotify yesterday for the first time in his career, overtaking Drake, who had maintained the top position since July.

On Spotify, Don’t Be Dumb posted a huge opening day total of 35.4 million streams, marking the biggest debut of Rocky’s career on the platform.

A Major First-Week Sales Forecast

The album’s commercial outlook is equally strong beyond streaming. Don’t Be Dumb is expected to debut with 300K–320K units in the first week, including an estimated 130K–140K pure sales.

And according to a press release, the demand was already clear before streaming numbers even began: the album reportedly sold more than 130,000 vinyl units before it hit streaming services, signaling a massive physical rollout and fan commitment.

A Star-Studded Album With Wide Creative Range

Sonically, Don’t Be Dumb is being described as one of Rocky’s most stylistically diverse projects, packed with major guest features across multiple genres. The album includes appearances from Tyler, the Creator, Doechii, Gorillaz, Thundercat, will.i.am, Danny Elfman, and Westside Gunn, highlighting Rocky’s ability to bridge rap, alternative music, and experimental production.

Amazon Music’s “Songline” Episode + Yams Day Tribute

In celebration of the release, Amazon Music is set to premiere a special episode of Songline this Sunday featuring music from Rocky.

The episode will also serve as a Yams Day tribute honoring A$AP Mob founder A$AP Yams, who passed away in 2015. The event is expected to include appearances from other A$AP Mob members and can be streamed via the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, Prime Video, or the Amazon Music app.
