Ghanaian musician, Kuami Eugene who won the Artiste of the Year award at the just-ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2020, has marvellously stormed the capital city of Central Region, Cape Coast on 25th of September, 2020.
Eugene Kwame Marfo who goes by the stage name Kuami Eugene is an ambassador for “Adonko Next Level” energy drink. As a result, he was invited by Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) to perform during their outdoor program called “Friday Old Skuul”.
Though COVID-19 pandemic is not over, authorities have lifted some strict protocols to enable social gathering operational.
Surprisingly, Kuami Eugene’s presence in the promo of the event increased the rate of attendance. The grounds of the program were flooding of people from all angles of Cape Coast Municipality with the notion of meeting the award-winning musician, Kuami Eugene.
In addition, the crowd pulled out not because they missed outdoor events because of COVID -19 pandemic restrictions but to get close to the Ghanaian young award-winning mucisician on stage.
To climax his show, he got flabbergasted of the turnout and the enthusiastic nature in the audience and appreciated them with all his songs gigs and finally rewarded some amazing people who came from morning waiting for him till his performance around 12:30 am with cash worthing Ghc100.00 each to the old women, little children and others who really shown they follow him as fans.
