A picture of Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin, Member of Parliament for Effutu constituency in a supposed free mason attire has sparked controversies on the internet.

It’s been alleged that the MP is a member of a free mason group.

However, Ghanaian media personality, Bridget Otoo has been sighted on Twitter defending Hon. Afenyo Markin on the controversial attire.

In one of her tweets, Bridget Otoo pointed out to a Twitter user that there’s nothing wrong with being a free mason. Also the person should stop watching nigerian movies and read.

Bridget Otoo went further and shared the said photo of Hon. Afenyo Markin and stated that the MP for Effutu, who also serves as a member of the committee on Defense and Interior is a free mason and she’s super proud of him.
