Aduana Stars Midfielder, Emmanuel Akuoku is relinquishing his footballing career for scouting role at the Dormaa based side.
Akuoku, called an end to an illustrious 14years career on the field with ‘Ogya Boys’ to assume scouting works after the end of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season.
“I want to serve as a scout for Aduana Stars after retirement because they have really helped me especially our Life Patron, Dr. Osagyefo Nana Agyeman Badu”, he stated.
“Once I’ve decided to call it quits, the best I can contribute for Aduana Stars is to scout players for them.
During my playing period, most of the Kumasi players who came to play for Aduana came through me, once I’ve decide to retire, I have to continue with that”, he noted.
Akuoku, acknowledged abundance of talents in the Ashanti Region and the need for his basement in the said region.
“I’ll be based in Kumasi more for my scouting role because there are alots of good players there and I’d have time for the family as well”, he concluded.
