APC Believes Sona Contains Nothing But Full Of Lies And Falsehoods

The APC believes that the current state of the nation delivered by the president is not the True State of the the nation. Yes we believe that the government and the president of the republic have done their best , but their best is not the best for our nation 🇬🇭 Ghana.

The current state of the nation is that, prices of goods and services in the market are outrageous. Everyday prices keep skyrocketing and salaries are stagnant.
Inflation is at its highest level.

Ghanaians cannot afford three square meals. Our nation cannot pay its debts and we have been downgraded to C by moody’s

Our currency is now the worst performing currency in the world under this government.

We still have many schools under trees, our few hospitals do not have enough beds and supplements.
Transportation and medical fees are too expensive and Ghanaians cannot afford their health care costs.

1. President spoke the about COVID 19 and the Russian Ukraine war. Government struggling due to the impact of pandemic and war. Our country was already suffering even before the pandemic hit us. COVID 19 resources was a blessing to us rather than a curse.

2. President spoke about borrowing and tagged it as not reckless borrowing. How did we get there Gh540b without nothing to show. That is reckless borrowing, if not we wouldn’t be forced to do debt restructuring programs. It’s is a sign of recklessness, corruption and mismanagement.

He spoke about roads infrastructure, schools and hospitals. How on earth can you over price/quote smaller projects with huge costs and expect value for money. Mr President value for money is what the Ghanaian people are asking for.

3. The president spoke about national Identification system with the Ghana card. Look we have over budgeted for the NIS and the Ghana card. 17million Ghanaian have so far been captured with the Ghana cards. The cost of one card is valued at $27 as compared to free Visa and Mastercard issued by the banks to its customers, is our government telling us that the banks spend $54million to issue their cards to clients.

4. Railways , Zongo community development, increased toilets facilities , 1D 1F, we are still waiting for the launching of railways routes and the Zongo development projects in the Zongo’s

5. Introduced E- revenue collection, eg revenue from 19 companies generated from 222 m from November 2021 to 720 m in November 2022 but we still ran to IMF

6. IMF and revenue mobilization programs, macro stability, debt sustainability and domestic revenue mobilization programs. The Ghanaian cannot entrust their funds to this government any longer. We don’t trust this government anymore. No one is willing to buy anything from this government anymore.

There is nothing good about the state of this nation. This Country is in serious crisis.
