Are Bats Threat To Human Health In Ghanaian Cities?

Bats are mammals of the order Chiroptera; with their forelimbs adapted as wings, they are the only mammals capable of true and sustained flight.

Though bats are classified by some people “edible and non edible” in most communities in the world.

Bats were popular meat for some people in the world including Ghanaians for some days back. Quite recently, during the outbreak of “Ebola”, bats were discovered to be health threatening animals meant for human consumption.
