Armed military officers stormed the Suame police headquarters after the arrest of a soldier on an unauthorized motorcycle.

Upon arriving, the six military officers who had been summoned by a colleague reportedly attacked a police officer at the post.

To preserve peace and order, an armed police re-enforcement squad from the Ashanti Regional Police Command has been dispatched to the Suame Police Station.

Residents in the region are fearful of what could happen next as a result of the event, which has generated some chaotic situations.

Soldiers have attacked the Suame Police Command for the third time.
