Asante Akyem Asuboa Launches Homecoming Celebration

The people of Asante Akyem Asuboa community in the Ashanti Region, the Chiefs and the youth of Asuboa has called on natives in abroad of the town to full participate in its homecoming celebration, geared towards unity and progress.

This year’s celebration is under the theme : Bra fie and “Asuboa Mpuntuo” to raise funds for the construction of community center, ultra modern toilet facility, school and hospital.

According to the youth chairman, the celebration will be commence on December 22, 2023 and it will be a one week celebration.

Speaking in an interview with chairman of the Homecoming planning committee, Mr, Kofi Yeboah he enumerated that the homecoming was planned by the entire community in order to develop the community by building Community Center, Ultramodern Toilet Facility, School and Hospital.

He emphasis that this year’s activities include Traditional Games like football, Oware, Dame, Quizzes etc. he stated.

Therefore, appealed to the citizens outside the community, abroad, and also surrounding communities to involve themselves in the activities and contribute towards the construction of the Community Center.

On her part, a member of the youth and planning committee, Madam Akosua Frimpomaa (aka feeling sister ) also advised the youth especially the girls to stay away from teenage pregnancy and so involve themselves in the Bra fie celebration and pay attention to the advice that will be given to them.

She also appealed to everyone of both within and abroad to fully come participate in the Bra fie celebration and contribute towards the construction of the community center and the development of the Asuboa community.
