: Asiedu Nketia son picks No. 1 on the ballot paper
The National Democratic Congress scheduled Monday, 3rd April 2023, for the Vetting and balloting of its parliamentary candidate aspirants for the forthcoming parliamentary and presidential primaries.
The Ahafo Regional Vetting Committee vetted all the prospective Parliamentary Candidate Aspirants in the Ahafo Region.
The vetting which happened at the Zeniel Oasis Hotel at Goaso started with the aspirants from Tano south constituency and proceeded to the various Constituencies except for Tano North Constituency.
Tano South Constituency after the vetting and balloting of their 4 prospective Parliamentary Candidate Aspirants saw Hon Charles Akwasi Asiedu, son of Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the NDC national Chairman, who is loved by many executives in and outside the constituency due to his selfless leadership skill picking the 1st slot on the ballot paper which has called for series of debate with people linking his number on the ballot paper comes as a dream come true indicating that he has won the contest in advance.
Charles Akwasi Asiedu is known in the NDC party as a result of his dedication, immense support, and love for the party since infancy. He has served the party in various capacities, which includes branch organizer, dep Brong Ahafo Regional Organizer, Ahafo Regional Organizer, and National Executive Committee member, and making himself available as a campaign coordinator for the former Tano South MP who is currently the National Women Organizer for the party Hon. Hanna Louisa Bissiw.
His credibility has left some of the NDC executives and other key party members in the Tano South Constituency with no other option than to vote for him as their Parliamentary candidate who to some NDC members tipped to be the candidate who can triumph over NPP.
