    Association International School – AIS Ghana @ 60 TED Talk

    On Monday, September 4th, Amb. Mike Oquaye Jnr. had the distinct honor of being the keynote speaker at the Association International School’s (AIS) 60th-anniversary TED Talk event. As an esteemed alumnus of AIS, Amb. Oquaye delivered an inspiring and thought-provoking presentation under the theme, ‘I AM A PROUD ALUMNI OF AIS’.

    Amb. Oquaye eloquently expressed how speaking at his alma mater was an exceptionally meaningful experience for him. It provided a unique opportunity to give back to the institution that had played a fundamental role in shaping his life’s journey. He emphasized that AIS’s three core principles of Academic Excellence, Christian Values, and Discipline had served as the bedrock upon which his character and achievements were built.

    During his speech, Amb. Oquaye urged the students not only to excel in academics but also to excel in various other aspects of life, such as sports, social connections, personal grooming, and more. He underscored the importance of cultivating networking skills and building relationships with peers and others, as he believed these skills and connections would yield substantial benefits in the future.

    The students’ response to Amb. Oquaye’s talk was nothing short of remarkable. Their enthusiasm and inquisitiveness were palpable throughout the presentation. During the Q&A session, they posed insightful questions, reflecting their genuine eagerness to learn and evolve.
