The National Road Safety Authority (NRSA), together with its partner, has installed the first solar-powered electronic radar speed sign on the Accra-Tema Motorway. The radar speed sign will showcase to drivers using the Motorway the level of their speed as they move. Former President John Dramani Mahama has called on Parliament to pass legislation that will stop governments from using statutory funds as collateral for loans. Former President John Dramani Mahama, has urged the government to show leadership in the current economic crisis and cut down the budget of the Office of the President. After intervention by President Nana Akufo-Addo, The Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) has agreed to a 19% increment in transport fares instead of the proposed 35%. The increment will take effect from Saturday, October 29, 2022.
