Confederation of African football has given the chance to members to decide whether to continue with their suspended league or not. Division one league of Ghana is not an exception of this decision making.
This is to enhance CAF to plan for their inter clubs competitions for next season. Clubs in Zone 1on Wednesday, April 29th voted to truncate the league after playing 13 matches.
The cancellation has become necessary due to the global pandemic COVID 19. Only B/A Utd and Tamale City voted for the continuation of the league.
