In his quest to ensure the NPP break the eight, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is on the search to nominate a candidate to partner with him in the 2024 general election.
However, many possible names have been mentioned aiming at partnering with him but a political analyst Nana Yaw Korang said apart from the Member of Parliament for the Manhyia South and Energy Minister, Hon. Mathew Opku Prempeh is the best among the rest of the candidates.
Speaking on King Tom TV Morning Show, interviewed by Nana Yaw Korang averred that NAPO is a politician who is energetic and can poll the crowd for the party, especially 0in the Ashanti region.
NAPO has the Asantes backing in the region than John Kumah and Adu Twum he noted.
Nana Yaw Korang contended that if the NPP wants to break the eight and prevent voting apathy, they should opt for NAPO if not, they should forget breaking the eight agenda.
