Blame TV3, Joy TV, UTV, Angel TV, Metro TV, others for misleading the public; they must explain the source of their results – Asiedu Nketia

The National Democratic Congress says Ghanaians must blame the Media, especially TV3, Joy TV, UTV, Angel TV, Metro TV and others for misleading them.

The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia who was speaking at a press conference has criticized the media for being the cause of the flawed December 2020 elections declared by the Electoral Commission’s chairperson Mrs. Jean Mensa.

According to the NDC’s General Secretary, TV3, JOY FM, UTV and ANGEL TV, Metro TV Peace FM among others must vividly explain where they got their election results before projecting President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the president elect and also giving majority seats won in Parliament to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia said this at a press conference organized by the party at its national headquarters later in the day.

The party’s press conference come few hours after the Electoral Commission of Ghana declared the leader of the New Patriotic Party Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the president elect for the December 2020 Polls.

He has reiterated that, he doesn’t know where some Media Houses got their Parliamentary and Presidential results from before reporting to the Ghanaian populace.

Mr. Asiedu has therefore called on the media especially TV3, JOY FM, Angle TV, UTV, ANGEL FM, Metro TV to explain where they got their misleading results.

The NDC’s General Mosquito has urged all members of the party at all levels to protect the election results. Finally, he called on Ghanaians to rise and Protect their sovereign will.

Meanwhile, the National Democratic Congress’s Flagbearer Mr. John Dramani Mahama has since rejected the declaration of the presidential election and said, they will not accept anything short aside the declaration of the legitimate results.
