Bodies of two Police Officers Drowned In River Oda Retrieved

The bodies of the two Police Officers who drowned in the Oda River in Obuasi have been retrieved.

Their bodies deposited at the morgue.

The officers were reportedly chasing suspected armed robbers on July 15, 2020, when they drowned in the river.

The two officers have been identified as  No. 48515 G/L/Cpl. Stephen Kyeremeh and No. 50287 G/L/Cpl. Amedius Akwesi Boateng, both of Obuasi Police Division.

Police have commenced an investigation into the incident.
