Bono Regional Minister Embarks On Final Phase of Campaign Ahead of December 7 General Elections

On 30th November, 2020, the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Evelyn Ama Kumi-Richardson (Mrs) embarked on voters education exercise to end the final phase of her campaign tour of the Region.

Day one of the Regional Minister’s tour took her to Wenchi Constituency where she met with the Constituency Executives and later took time to educate voters at radio Ewiase, 95.7 fm on how to cast their votes for the President, HE Nana Akufo-Addo and the MP/PC for Wenchi Constituency, Hon. Prof. Gyan Baffour.

At Tain Constituency, the Minister’s first point of call was with the Constituency Executives and the MP/PC. She also went to Tain radio in the company of the MP/PC, Hon. Gabriel Osei for voters education and later held separate mini Durbars of Chiefs and people at Nsawkaw and Brodi.

From Brodi, the Bono Regional Minister proceeded to Sampa the District Capital of Jaman North where she met with the MP/PC who doubles as the Deputy Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Siaka Stevens and the Constituency Executives.

The Minister finally ended her day one visit at Banda Constituency where separate mini Durbars were held at three communities namely, Kojie, Domoli and Dorbor. Accompanying her were the Constituency Executives and the DCE for Banda, Hon. Mary Konneh.

Day Two, 1st December, 2020

Day two of the Hon. Regional Minister took her to Jaman South Constituency where she met with the Constituency Executives and later honored a radio interview on Jaman radio and Kiss Radio.

From Jaman South, the Minister proceeded to Dormaa West and met with the Constituency Executives and the MP/PC, Hon. Ali Maiga.

At Dormaa Central, Hon. Evelyn Ama Kumi-Richardson in the company of the MCE for Dormaa Central, Hon. Drissah Ouattara held a radio interview at Gift fm 105.5 and later met with the Constituency Executives.

Day three, 2nd December, 2020

The Minister, Hon. Evelyn Ama Kumi-Richardson, started her tour with a radio interview at Service 104.9 fm in the company of the MCE for Sunyani West, Hon. Martin Obeng and later made a donation of branded t-shirts and undisclosed amount of money to the Constituency Campaign Team at Odumase.

At Chiraa, the Minister visited various shops, market women as well as some artisans.

At Sunyani East Constituency, similar donations of NPP branded t-shirts, voter education materials and an undisclosed amount of money were presented to the Constituency Chairman, Frank Musah Damtarl on behalf of the Constituency Campaign Team.

From Sunyani West constituency, the minister took her campaign to Berekum West with a radio campaign at Akomapa 89.3fm. She also presented branded NPP T-shirts to the Constituency Campaign Team.

At Berekum East Constituency, the Minister met with the Constituency Executives and the PC, Hon. Nelson Kwaku Kyeremeh where she made a donation of branded NPP T-shirts and an undisclosed amount of money to the Campaign Team. She also addressed voters in the Constituency via Chris radio 88.9fm. The Minister also held a mini rally with FREE SHS GRADUATES and educated them on how to vote during the upcoming elections.

Finally at Dormaa East, similar donations were made by the Regional Minister at a meeting held at the Residency of the DCE, Hon. Emmanuel Kofi Agyemang.
