The Bono Regional Sports Committee, a statutory body established under the Sports Act, 2016 (Act 934), has been officially inaugurated and sworn in by the Bono Regional Minister, Honorable Joseph Addae Akwaboa at the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC).
The ceremony, held yesterday at the RCC, marks a significant step in strengthening the governance and coordination of sports development across the region. The committee is mandated to support the implementation of national sports policies, drive talent identification, and enhance collaboration among key stakeholders to promote sports excellence in Bono Region.
The Bono Regional Sports Committee, comprises the following distinguished members who will serve from 2025 to 2029:
