CCTV footage showing a man identified as a pastor stealing a mobile phone from a hair salon has surfaced on social media and triggered widespread outrage among netizens.
In the viral video, the pastor is seen entering the salon and engaging the hairdresser in conversation.
He reportedly convinced the unsuspecting woman that he had seen a frightening vision concerning her and claimed he needed to pray for her to avert an impending danger.
As the hairdresser bowed her head and closed her eyes during the prayer session, the man seized the opportunity to discreetly pick up her mobile phone.

The act was clearly captured by the salon’s surveillance camera and has later being shared online.
Moments after completing the prayer, the pastor calmly exited the salon, having allegedly accomplished his sole mission of stealing the woman’s phone.
The footage has since generated intense discussion online, with many social media users expressing disappointment and anger over the alleged abuse of religious authority to commit theft.
Others have called on the police to investigate the incident and ensure the suspect is brought to justice.
As of now, it remains unclear whether the matter has been officially reported to law enforcement.
