The Chief Executive Officer of Better Dream Foundation Ghana, Mr. Shaibu Mohammed, has announced a groundbreaking opportunity for tertiary students across the country. Through a strategic partnership with the Global Mentorship Initiative (GMI), Ghanaian students now have access to a 12-week 1-to-1 online mentorship program designed to prepare them for their first professional career.

The program connects students with experienced volunteer mentors worldwide, guiding them to:
Write convincing CVs and prepare for job interviews.
- Use AI to enhance job searches and career prospects.
- Create career plans with achievable goals.
- Establish professional networks using LinkedIn.
Statistics from GMI show that 74% of students secure employment within six months of graduation, and more than 10,000 students have been mentored in over 100 countries.
Eligibility
The mentorship is open to tertiary students in Ghana who are:
- Proficient in English or Spanish.
- Enrolled in or recently completed a degree/certificate program.
- Able to commit to twelve 1-hour virtual mentorship sessions.
- 18 years or older at the time of application.
Special provisions have been made to include first-generation college students and displaced learners.
Encouraging students to take advantage of this initiative, Mr. Mohammed emphasized that the mentorship program will bridge the gap between academia and the job market, giving Ghanaian students the competitive edge needed to thrive globally.
