‘You guys don’t need me to tell you what a massive game tomorrow night is, I’m sure that just like me, you have already been losing sleep and feeling mixed emotions of nervousness and excitement’.
But we are lucky to be playing in domestic football’s biggest competition and not only that, in the final of said competition with a chance to lift the trophy for the second time in our history.
2012 sticks solidly in my mind, especially the mad celebrations after it, a repeat of that feeling would be very much welcome right now.
One of the heroes of that night, Gary Cahill, has opened up about it ahead of the final, and he also makes an interesting prediction about Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea moving forward in the future.
Cahill believes that winning the UCL this season could springboard Chelsea back to the top and challenging for Premier League titles once again.

“Players who look like they believe they should be on that stage. It’s an exciting time to be a Chelsea fan, to see this young team grow.
