Eligibility Criteria of the Chevening Clore Leadership Fellowship 2025:
To be eligible for a Chevening Clore Leadership Fellowship, applicants must:
- Applicants must be citizens of one of the following countries: Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Jordan, Lebanon, Mexico, or South Africa.
- Intend to return to their home country at the end of the fellowship period.
- Hold a degree equivalent to at least a good UK second-class honours degree, or have equivalent professional training and/or experience.
- Have completed at least five years of work, or equivalent experience, by the end of 2023.
- Meet the minimum requirements of the main fellowship scheme.
- Have a good working knowledge of English, which will be assessed in the application form and, if invited, during the interview.
- Not hold British or dual British citizenship.
- Not be an employee, former employee, or relative of an employee of His Majesty’s Government or affiliated organizations, including the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, British Embassies/High Commissions, the Home Office, Ministry of Defence, Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Department for International Trade, UKVI, British Council, sponsoring UK universities, or the Association of Commonwealth Universities, or have been in such a position in the last two years.
