COVID-19: Temporal closure of Dormaa Ahenkro Tuesday Market

The Municipal Chief Executive of Dormaa Ahenkro Municipality, Hon. Drissa Ouattara on 7th May, 2020 issued a temporal ban on the business activities going on in the Tuesday market premises.


In a press release disclosed that this exercise is as part of measures to contain the spread of Covid -19 and to ensure strict adherence to social and public distancing.


It stated that, the Dormaa Central Municipal Security Council(MUSEC) in collaboration with the Dormaa Traditional Council have temporary closed the Dormaa Tuesday Market, hence the Tuesday Market will not be opened effective Tuesday 12th May, 2020 for business activities.

He urged the general public adherence to the directives while observing all health protocols during this difficult period.
