Tamale City players have been beaten following their 1-1 draw against Nsuatre in the Ghana Division One League on Sunday afternoon in Zone 1.
The reason for the attack is unknown.
However, pictures that have emerged show that the players have been beaten with many left to flee for their life.
The players that were beaten had their jerseys soaked with blood.
The team bus was attacked with the windscreen heavily damaged.
