    Dr Daniel Mckorley Writes

Nana Yaw CobbinaBy Nana Yaw CobbinaMay 7, 2025No Comments

I woke up today with a lot on my heart and mind. There’s so much we can do to make this continent work for all of us.

Africa is rising—but without the right foundation, even the boldest ambitions will stumble. When we talk about building Africa’s future, there’s one word we cannot ignore: infrastructure.

Governments must prioritise infrastructure spending—not just on national prestige projects, but on regional connectivity.

Private sector leaders must partner on infrastructure projects that offer long-term returns and wide-reaching impact.

African citizens must demand more. We deserve to be connected—because disconnected economies cannot grow.

Africa will not rise on talent alone—we already have that in abundance.

We will rise when we connect.

We will rise when we build the backbone.

Let’s build the roads, the rails, the power grids, the digital highways.

Let’s not wait to be connected from outside—let’s connect from within.

If we build it, Africa will not just rise. Africa will lead.
