In relation to the drowning of Ifeanyi, the son of Davido, 8 persons have been arrested.
Eight people who were present at rapper Davido’s house when his kid Ifeanyi drowned in a swimming pool at the age of three and died have been arrested.
On November 1, instablog9ja, a well-known Nigerian website, wrote on Instagram that David Ifanyi’s chef, nanny, and other domestic staff members had been held so they could speak with the police about his murder.
According to Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos state police command, the police confirmed the arrest to the BBC, who then quoted them as saying, “Eight people were brought in for questioning and, after a thorough investigation, anyone found culpable of the child’s death would be arrested.”
Recently, a party was held on October 17 to honor the third birthday of Davido’s baby with his fiancée, Chioma Rwoland. On October 23, a second party was held with important attendees.
According to reports, when the sad incident occurred on October 31 at their Banana Island home, both Davido and chef Chioma, the mother of the deceased, were abroad.
Chioma and Davido have both yet to make a remark on the incident.
