Erection should be for 7 minutes during Intravaginal activity- Dr. Richard Eghan

Dr. Richard Eghan, a physician, biomedical researcher, and public and global health scientist, believes that everyone should be able to keep an erection for seven to ten minutes. On November 3rd, 2021, he revealed this on a health feature on the GTV Breakfast Show.

When a man is unable to obtain or maintain a hard adequate erection for sexual intercourse, he is said to have erectile dysfunction. It is similar to impotence and is one of the illnesses of sexual dysfunctions.

According to Dr. Egan, before beginning intercourse, a male should be sexually active and keep an erection for 7 minutes while maintaining an intravaginal sex latency period, which means a man should be able to maintain an erection in the vagina for 7 minutes, which is the usual time.

He went on to say that the majority of sexual activities are caused by biological and psychogenic factors, and that before self-medicating, a screening procedure is essential to assess the extent of the dysfunction.
