The father of the child stolen at the Greater Accra Region’s Mamprobi Polyclinic has spoken out after his child was safely returned.
The discovery and reunion with his family of his newborn brought Mohammed Kwame Agyemang great relief. Nevertheless, he revealed that his wife is still mentally traumatised by the experience.
Mr. Agyemang’s wife, who had a Caesarean section (CS) to deliver the baby, is still recuperating from the procedure and has been severely traumatised by the experience.
Despite being secure today, he said, the child is still dealing with the psychological effects of the incident.
The abduction, which took place in Mamprobi in the Ablekuma South Constituency, caused a great deal of anxiety in the neighbourhood and spurred a thorough search, which finally resulted in the baby’s return.
As his family concentrates on recovering and taking care of their infant, Mr. Agyemang asked for ongoing prayers and support. Investigations into the incident’s circumstances are still proceeding in the interim.
