KENYA – Festus Amimo’s wife has spoken for the first time follwing the demise of her husband.
As confirmed, Amimo, who was the owner of Mayienga FM, died in a hotel room alongside a female a married female employee who has been identified as Collata Ann Ngesa aka Juicy.
According to preliminary reports, Amimo was in the company of Juicy at the time of his passing.
Information circulating across social media suggests that Amimo collapsed while still on top of Juicy.
These claims, however, remain unverified, as investigators have not released an official account of what transpired in the moments leading to his death.
Some unconfirmed reports further allege that the broadcaster may have taken a sexual enhancement substance before the incident.
Well, speaking to newsmen, this is what Amimo’s wife had to say…
My husband was addicted to his phone. Sometimes we used to fight in the house because this man, he was always on the phone. Even if he arrives at 3 am, the first thing he does ni kwa simu.
So I used to tell him, can you relax you need to put your phone down, hata wewe upumzike.

He can come from work at 3 am and he tells me, ‘you don’t know what this phone does for me, but one day you’ll know; this is my office. You don’t know what I’m coordinating am the CEO, I need to make sure everything is running properly.
He had a lot of plans for December. He had big dreams of 2026 going forward, but God had other plans. Out of Festus’ death I have learnt so many things.
I have learnt that we should take one day at a time. He had so many plans for December, but now where is he? He left the house by 2; he had so many functions,”.
“I used to call him ‘dad’, and he told me that name sounds sweet when I call him. He told me, ‘don’t stop calling me dad. I asked him, ‘what will I make for you Osiepa?’ He loved meat so much, and he told me nitengenezee nyama.
