The basic education certificate examination just started yesterday Monday 14th September, 2020. A Junior High School student who is part of those writing the ongoing BECE, has reportedly given birth to preterm baby.

She is around fifteen years of age from Aboabo close Dormaa Ahenkro in the Bono Region.

As per the report assembled, she gave birth to a preterm baby while she was writing her Basic Education Certificate Examination. She was rushed to a center at Aboabo where the cord was braced and cut.

She was then referred to Dormaa Presbyterian Hospital, Pediatric Center for additional treatment and management.

The 15years old young girl, who is currently a mother got back to class to proceed with her tests. The child is presently on admission and receiving oxygen in an incubator.
