A nighttime attack at Temgmasug, a village in the Binduri District of the Upper East Region, by unidentified gunmen has resulted in the verified deaths of five persons, including two youngsters.
The unfortunate occurrence happened on Friday, November 7, 2025, between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m., according to security sources who confirmed it to 3news.
The sources stated that the deceased were the leader of the family, a husband, his wife, and their two kids.
All five of the relatives were immediately killed in the attack, but one survivor was shot and taken to the hospital for treatment.
The four shooters are thought to have entered the community on foot before carrying out the brutal assault on the gullible victims who were sleeping in their complex, according to security services, who have subsequently started investigations.
In response to the attack, a joint police and military force has started patrols in an effort to restore calm.
