A depressing video that is presently going viral on social media shows several Senior High School (SHS) kids receiving a dreadful treatment. After seeing this video, many social media users were unable to remain silent. These pupils are from St Paul’s Senior High School and Minor Seminary at Hatsukorpe (SPACO), which is located in Ketu South, Volta Region, according to the individual who submitted this video on social media.

If you pay close attention to the film, you can notice that the pupils have adequate rice but not much fish or soup. Ten pupils are so each given one fish to share. Additionally, the rice will be served with a bland soup. If the children had not been served the tiniest of the fish and the broth on top of the rice, it would have been excellent.

Let’s not accept this as the standard because we are in the year 2022. This is definitely not healthy. According to sources, some SHS students are experiencing this similar problem. After viewing this movie, some Ghanaians began criticizing the introduction of the Free SHS. They said that it appears the economy was not in a position to support the implementation of the free SHS, but President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo saw an opportunity to utilize it to win Ghanaians’ votes.

Others agreed, stating that the situation was quite serious and that they had heard of much worse incidents occurring in other high schools.
