The Bekwai parliamentary seat is now vacant due to the incumbent Hon Joseph Osei Owusu unable to run again so four persons has Officially picked Nomination forms Contest in the upcoming parliamentary primaries.
Speaking at the sidelined after picking the forms one of the aspiring parliamentary candidate hopeful Henry Opoku Ware reiterated that he stand tall among all the aspirants because in 2020 he went round with the incumbent to campaign for almost 116 communities with his own resources.
According to him, Hon Joe Wise has contributed alot towards the growth of Bekwai municipality.
Mr Owass was optimistic that when given the nod to represent the people of Bekwai, education will be his responsibilities because is the engine growth of Bekwai youth.
According to him, his first year in office will see tremendous improvement of infrastructural roads network and building of more ultra modern unit classrooms.
Mr Poku Ware hinted that the NPP government has done alot so he entreat all Ghanaians to vote massively for the party in the upcoming general elections to continue the good things the party is doing for mother Ghana.
He said he is much confident that the Bekwai delegates believe in his track record towards the growth of Bekwai NPP so he has no doubt in mind that they will vote not less than 75% for him in the upcoming parliamentary primaries slated to take place in January next year.
In another development, the Npp Women’s wing at Bekwai Constituency also picked the nomination forms on behalf of COP George Alex Mensah (Rtd) on Wednesday 20th December, making him the third aspirant to received the document.
Speaking to the media, COP Alex Mensah (Rtd) said he will submit his form on Saturday 23rd December 2023.
He said, he has a lot of educational policies both Formal which is the education and Informal which is hand works.
He again said he will open MP common fund to support bright but needy students .
