With the economic problems that most countries are experiencing and the high unemployment rate, it has been difficult for graduates to find employment opportunities, and many of them are sitting at home with their degrees gathering dust. Graduates went on to further their education in order to better their circumstances and also have professional careers. Many unemployed people have become disappointed as a result of this since they had high hopes of using their education and degrees to further their careers and this was not how they had planned out their life.

Many of these recent graduates who are unemployed have been forced to accept occupations that are not related to their fields of study, and some of them wind up working in low-paying professions permanently.
