The Ayew brothers, Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew have both been dropped from Ghana’s starting eleven today ahead of the game against the Central African Republic.
Ghana’s Black Stars are set to take on their counterpart from the Central African Republic this afternoon in the second Group E match of the qualifiers for the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Ahead of kick-off at the Estadio 11 de Novembro, Ghana coach Otto Addo has named his starting eleven with as many as six changes from the team that started the encounter against Madagascar last Wednesday.
In defense, Andy Yiadom who missed the first game of the qualifiers has replaced veteran Denis Odoi.
Jonathan Mensah has also come in to partner Daniel Amartey while Edmund Addo starts in midfield in place of Iddrisu Baba.
In the attack, the Ayew brothers are dropped with Coach Otto Addo preferring Osman Bukari and Joseph Paintsil.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Kudus and Felix Afena-Gyan keep their places in the Black Stars starting eleven for the Central African Republic game.
