Ghana Has Not Received Any COVID-19 Herbal Cure From Madagascar – Minister


Information Ministry Denies Allegations Of Government Receiving Herbal Medicine From Madagascar- Kojo Oppong Nkrumah

The minister of information Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has denied the country has received herbal medicine from Madagascar which is meant to cure COVID-19.

Mr. Oppong Nkrumah said the government would continue to relay with the appropriate agencies before the mixture is approved.

To earlier this week, there has been too, should l say misreports that have gone deep in the media, we need to correct it.

What is that, government said that it has requested for the Madagascar cure and there even other reposts that we have received it and we are testing, I just want to be clear on that.

What we have is that Madagascar has reached out to us with their supposed or suggested cure and that will test it through FDA and Center for Plant Medicine before making a decision.

Brief I have, it is that we have not received these supposed cure from Madagascar“, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.

According to him there are other local herbalists who claim to have a cure for the virus and their products will be tested for it’s efficacy by FDA.
