Ghana Registered Nurses And Midwives Association Has Stood Against SHS Graduates To Work At CHPS Compounds
The attention of the leadership of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) has been drawn to the Youth Employment Agency’s (YEA) attempt to train SHS graduates to assist Nurses at Community Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds which form the basic structure of the health system in Ghana.
These CHPS compounds consist of accommodation for Community Health Nurses and a service delivery point which may also be referred to as a health post. The compounds are generally manned by Community Health Nurses.
