“Ghanaian musicians don’t like paying for production, some are still owing me” – Odikro
Ghanaian guitarist, sound engineer and a singer Daniel Kofi Darko, better known as “Odikro baako pe” has expressed his deepest disappointment in producing some big artistes who failed to pay him after he played guitar in their songs.
Odikro, in an interview on sapXcluve, has disclosed to the host, the Ghanaian well-celebrated musicians who are still owing him to the extent that he named artistes like; Kofi Kinaata, Kwadwo Ampong, Joyce Blessing, Patience Nyako and many other artists.
He tagged Kwadwo Ampong as a “maafia King Kong”, that he doesn’t like paying for his music production.
According to him, many top Ghanaian musicians are still owing him and in the meantime he will list them in public to collect his money.
‘Patience Nyarko became who she is now because of me, I helped her in her music career begining, I directed him to a good sound engineer to make her hit’, Odikro said
He further said that, he has played a vital role in many musicians songs by playing guitar for them but they didn’t pay him well.
