Glo, AirtelTigo Merges To Fight Vodafone And MTN
Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN), Angel FM, Accra and Angel TV’ morning show dubbed ”Anopa B)fo)” announced today 13th, September, 2022 that the giants in Ghana’s telecommunication network, thus Vodafone and MTN are failing Ghanaians in good services delivery and perhaps calling Glo Network to merge with AirtelTigo to deliver Ghana from the usual telecommunication errors.
In fact, Glo emerged some years back in Ghana but could not survive to penetrate the competitive telecom market.
Though, Glo as known in some countries in Africa could not extend its network coverage to most parts of Ghana despite the gigantic masks they mounted around parts of Ghana.
Glo as known limited its SIM cards and network in only some few cities in Ghana making its paramount market center in Accra while neglecting the rural areas. These mentioned reasons could have affected its survival.
Most Ghanaians with technological ideas thought since Glo came with the “optical fibre” systems could have made it easier and accurately dependable and accessible in all parts of Ghana.

But today in news fraternity, Glo is said to come back not independently rather to merge with AirtelTigo to operate almagamatedly.
This information has left concerns that: What will be their new name? Will they solve the already existing telecom network failures and securities? Can they build telecommunication trust in Ghanaians because there is an adage that “three heads are better than one. Glo, AirtelTigo Merges To Fight Vodafone And MTN
