GNP: Know Why Ras Mubarak Is Losing Nowadays Election Contests

Rumours are all over concerning the recent defeats of Ras Mubarak as he lost his position as member of parliament and today, 12th February, 2021 lost the Council of State election woefully.

The secret would be borne to the public by himself but majority of people also critize how he handles positions that might be causing his frequent defeats.

Surprisingly, the former Member of Parliament for Kumbungu Constituency Ras Mubarak got zero (0) vote in the ongoing Council of State elections in the Northern Region.

The former MP wanted to represent the Northern Region on the Council of State as a youth to help address issues concerning the youth of Ghana but could not emerge triumphant.

Prior to the election, the former MP in a post shared on his social media platform
said “We’ve done all the campaigning. We leave the rest to God through our
distinguished delegates. I have surrendered my purpose to the most High, for Victory cometh only from God. May He make the honorable delegates remember Ras Mubarak, #3 on the ballot. Amen. #Council_of_state elections2021”.

However, he did not garner a vote out of 32 delegates who voted in the day grading him a great loser.

Indeed, he congratulated his immediate opponent on Facebook, Chief Col. Rt.
Mahamud Tahiru who won the elections with 23 out of the 32 votes.

“Congratulations to Chief Col. Rt. Mahamud Tahiru who has been duly elected as the Northern Region’s
representative on the Council of State.”

In a summary, the results of Northern Region Council of State Elections held today, Chief Pishegu Alhassan Andani had 8 votes, Chief Zung Mahamud Tahiru 23 votes, Rashid P. Mahama had 1vote and Ras Mubarak had no vote.

In all, 32 votes casted and it ended peacefully. All give thanks to the Almighty God, the organizers, contestants, delegates and the entire Ghanaians who help to champion this worthy cause.
