Celebrating the 2021 Valentine’s Day in Ghana, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw who is a private legal practitioner brought out why men especially married should not disclose their sources of income to their loving partners.
He hinted that source of income of a man is different from occupation or profession. Though a man’s wife may know what her husband do and the wage or salary he takes, may it be daily, weekly, monthly or any other forms, the man could also do or have other means of getting money aside his known work. The other means of getting money is his source of income.
He said this with reference to how God created a man. He explained that, since man is the head of a family, his power is his secret.
Therefore, a reasonable man should not reveal his secret to woman in a simple manner. He recalled what happened to Sampson and Delilah in the history of Bible to buttress his point. Since Sampson failed to keep secret of his power, his wife offended him.
According to Lawyer Ampaw, men who fall deep in love and begin to reveal their hidden power and secret are all powerless and shameful to glory.
He added, by no instance a man should disclose his source of income to a woman because women are weak and unreal in terms of strength for living.
He climaxed his opinion indicating that, if a woman knows her husband’s source of income, she begins to read their progress accordingly and if by mistake the man diverts on a way, henceforth, there is confusion at home and if it continues, divorce is the final outcome.
