At a historic moment when myghtaxi was launched in a grand jury styled to make transportation affordable and relax for everyone in Ghana.
Speaking at the official launch of the MYGHTAXI APP, held in Accra, the National Vice Chairman of the GPRTU, who doubled as the Greater Accra Regional Chairman, Mr Emmanuel Nii Ankrah a.k.a Nana Ampofo Annan I, reiterates that over the years the greatest concern of GPRTU of GTUC which prides itself as the leading transport operator in Ghana has been how it can take advantage of technology to leverage within the transport sector.
According to him, the GPRTU of TUC Greater Accra Secretariat has taken notice of its business operations and the current trends of fast-developing technologies in the transport ecosystem. GPRTU has been working around the clock with its competent partners to reform its manual operations. | am happy to mention again that the GPRTU today has gone DIGITAL.
Furthermore the GPRTU in its quest to improve its business operation and to provide good customer service to its loyal customers has partnered with a competent
technology solution provider in the county to introduce its Digital platform dubbed MYGHTAXI.
The MYGHTAXI will become the digital platform that will support commercial taxi drivers and trotro drivers in the discharge of their services in our
digital era.
He was optimistic that Drivers are just to download the free GHTAXI DRIVER application from the Apple store and google play store and subsequently register following the steps as provided by the application.
Nana Ampofo Annan I, hinted that his Technical staff will approve their application after the team verifies their document.
In his remarks, the deputy communications officer Mr Samuel Amoah, stressed that the app is for both the driver and a passenger at a cool rate to any destination of choice while the driver enjoys just Gh¢ 10 for the whole of subscriptions.
