The most talked about issue in the country for the past three days has been the alleged money-doubling scam by former fetish priestess Nana Agradaa, now an evangelist with the name Patricia Asiedua aka Mama Pat.
Some citizens who claim to be members of Nana Agradaa’s Heavenwave Chapel were seen in several videos lamenting how the once-repented fraudster has once again duped them after promising to double their money.
The Ghana Police Service quickly intervened and arrested the former fetish priestess on Sunday, October 9, who was arraigned before the court today, October 10 She has been remanded for three days after pleading not guilty to the charges against her.
Sharing his thoughts on this on the Ghana Kasa show aired on Kasapa 102.5FM/Agoo TV today, October 10, Christian Kwabena Andrews, better known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, has blamed the victims for negligence.
The founder of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM) political party and 2020 presidential candidate said Agradaa will continue to steal many Ghanaians if they do not turn away from their greedy and lazy ways.
According to him, the victims were not forced but went out of their own greediness and quest for quick money.
“Most Ghanaians are greedy, they don’t like to work hard to earn money. How on earth will you go to a church where free money is promised to congregants? Not even Jesus shared money when he came to this earth,” he said.
Osofo Kyiri Abosom advised “you need to work hard to get money, you fish for money for yourself. I don’t know what is wrong with some Ghanaians who are driven by greed. Agraada never forced anyone to come to her, people went there out of greed and so they should bear the consequence of their actions.”
