On Thursday, December 22, 2022, I engaged CEOs of the various mining sector agencies under my supervision at the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources.
The various agencies, Minerals Commission, Minerals Development FUND (MDF), Precious Minerals Marketing Corporation (PMMC), Ghana Integrated Iron and Steel Development Corporation (GIISDEC), National Alternative Employment and Livelihood Programme (NAELP), Ghana Landscape Restoration and Small-Scale Mining Project (GLRSSMP) Ghana Integrated Aluminum Development Corporation (GIADEC) and Ghana Geological Survey Authority (GGSA) made presentation on activities undertaken over the year.
We used the medium to appraise achievements and challenges over the year and to strategize for the ensuing year.
In 2023, we shall keep delivering on our mandate in positioning the Mining Sector as one of the key backbones of the economy.
