Thomas Partey, a Ghanaian footballer, claims to be a better dancer than former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan.
Thomas Partey, in response to a query from ace broadcaster Nana Aba Anamaoah, asserted, among other things, that he dances better than Asamoah Gyan.
The Arsenal midfielder also reminisced about the incident that occurred after the Black Stars beat Nigeria in a crucial World Cup decider in Abuja a few weeks ago, speaking in Twi, a prominent local dialect.
When the spectators poured onto the field, he claims he dashed into the changing room. Later, he had to see on TV the chaos caused by the enraged Nigerian fans.
Coach Otto Addo was also praised by Thomas Partey, who praised his efforts. Even though it was his solo effort that won the game against Nigeria, he offered credit to the entire team.
“We led the entire team to victory” was his response to Nana Aba Anamaoah when he was praised.
Meanwhile, when he was with the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan was recognized for his contagious charm. Whenever he scored a goal, he would perform his signature dance steps.
Thomas Partey, on the other hand, claims that Ghanaians have yet to recognize that he is a greater dancer than Asamoah Gyan.
